Grenada is an English speaking, independent tri-island nation (Grenada, Carriacou, Petite Martinique). Located at the southern tip of the Windward Islands in the West Indies. To the north are St Vincent and the Grenadines, and to the south are Trinidad and Tobago. Grenada is the main island of the three and is approximately 34km long and 18km wide.
Grenada, the so called Spice Island is far less developed for tourism than other Caribbean Islands and has soft-sand beaches and a mountainous and lush rainforest interior. The elegant capital St. Georges embraces the natural horseshoe harbour.
