A hidden gem in the West Indies, Mount Edgecombe Plantation Hotel, nestled above the Caribbean Sea, on the Spice and Cocoa rich island of Grenada, offers a stunning but serene barefoot luxury vacation experience.
With history going back at least as far as 1763, this totally authentic working plantation was originally growing sugar cane, but later it became a spice, cocoa and coffee plantation.
Today, as a small luxury hotel, the accommodation is surrounded by 28 acres of verdant and colourful flora, with over 40 types of spices, fruit and vegetables in abundance.
With its stunning, sheltered and elevated location on the West Coast of Grenada, this very rare and historic plantation enjoys cool sea breezes, amazing sunsets, luscious grounds and the wonderful Caribbean Sea view. The jaw dropping double infinity pools and sun deck, just have to be seen to be believed.
Our small barefoot luxury boutique hotel adds to its enviable location, a mix of beautifully restored traditional Plantation House guest accommodation and very personal service by our live-in hotel team.
